Whenever ‘preparation phase before printing’ is mentioned, CTP comes to mind. CTP (Computer to plute) is known as computer-to-pattern exposure. This technology is used quite often in the printing field. It is printing without the need for film when transferring to a pattern with CTP, which is the easier version of offset printing. Also, the risk of failure is higher when working with film. Today, CTP is used in the ‘preparation phase before printing’ studies in the printing house, so that better quality results are obtained.
